YTU မိသားစုမွအမိႏိုင္ငံရွိ Cyclone ေဘးဒဏ္သင့္သူမ်ားအတြက္လွုပ္ရွားမွု

Dear RITians and Burmese community,
RIT Alumni (Singapore) together with Myanmar Club (Singapore) andBurmese Buddhist Temple will hold praying session for the victims ofNargis Cyclone at Burmese Buddhist Temple, Toa Payoh.
It is on 11th May 2008 (Sunday) at 9:30 am.
We will collect donations and all the donation slips have serialnumber. We will declear each and every donation slip's serial numberand amount donated on our web site http://www.rit-alumni-singapore.org/.
All our donation will be distributed in Burma through United NationsOffice for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) and FuneralAssociation (Nar Yay Ah Thin).
We'll send water purification tablets and medicines as first batch ofdonation.

Fund Raising for Cyclone Relief in MyanmarRIT Alumni Singapore, Myanmar Club Singapore and Toa Payoh Burmese Buddhist Temple jointly organized a relief fund raising committee to send aid supplies to cyclone-hit regions of Myanmar.This committee will apply for a permit from Singapore government to organize an official charity event. The committee is organizing a special prayer service at Toa Payoh Burmese Buddhist Monastery on Sunday, 11th of May 2008, to pray for Myanmar people who have suffered from the cyclone. The prayer service will start at 9:30 am and there will be a donation booth for Cyclone Nargis Relief Fund. The first batch of aid supplies such as essential drugs and water purification tablets will be sent out to Myanmar as soon as possible with the help of reliable organizations to make sure that the aid materials will reach to the people who are in need.We will update more details soon.
